Manage pharmacy/staff to dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceutical products for patient care. Counsel patients on the selection of medications and monitor prescriptions issued by physicians and authorized prescribes to assure accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients needed. Verify prescriptions for drug interaction and allergic effects and work on disease management programs. Prepare reports for Regulatory agencies and supervise the ordering of drugs. Manage inventory of controlled substances and establish specifications for the procurement and storage of medications and chemicals to ensure proper use. Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance to prevent excessive usage or harmful interaction. Work on call & weekend to assist to fill prescriptions and compliance for assisted living. Supervise 1 Pharmacy Technician.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences plus 5 years of progressive experience in job offered or as a Pharmacist. Must have Pharmacist license issued by State of Pennsylvania.
